As we understand, to learn about UHF RFID technology is not as easy as barcode technology. Below is the 3 important term you need to know when you try to understand the UHF RFID label, this term will affect the performance of label printing as well as the accuracy of printing and encoding of the UHF RFID label.
Inlay placement – This determines the distant of the inlay placement from the edge of the label, unreliable RFID sticker supplier may not be able to maintain the consistency of the inlay position, the inconsistent inlay placement may cause difficulty in encoding and printing of UHF RFID label.
Pitch – distant from one chip to another chip, designing of small label will face challenge on the label encoding and printing. Pitch value determines the accuracy and consistency of the data encoding and printing.
On Pitch – The term tells you that the inlay is almost same size as the media size or slightly smaller. The encoding is challenging if no gap in between 2 label stickers.
