The purpose of barcode printer is to print out the label for your inventory item or shipping item. The content on the label normally will consist of the part number, Item code or barcode of the item. It normally can be use in the warehouse (small or big), Point of sales counter for the item the shop owner would like to sell.
Example a computer mouse from the computer shop. Computer owner import from an unknow supplier, the mouse box just a blank box. The box may not have any itemcode / barcode printed, to arrange the item on the shelf and sell to the customer, conventional way the shop owner will write to record the item name on the box and then record on the book. Example: Today manage to sell 2 pcs of mouse.
After implemented GST in the country, this type of manual recording no longer allows in the business, all the transaction must be recorded clearly in computer system for easy GST submission. With the label or barcode printer, shop owner can now easily print out the label and sticker for the product they would like to sell. Stick outside the product box they would like to sell.
