Course Objectives
- Distinguish the elements of the Quality of Service (QoS) model as it affects voice and other rich media applications
- Identify the network segments, network elements, and network services commonly used in a Voice over IP (VoIP) deployment
- Identify the pre-conditions of a successful deployment of the voice application in a network that includes wireless segments
- Identify methods used to ensure that quality of service is maintained at the border between wired and wireless network segments
- Identify the general guidelines for configuration of feature servers, private branch exchanges, Push-to-Talk dispatch servers, and mobile clients in a voice-enabled network
