Dear Partner,Evolis announces the End of Life of the Crazy Writer and the Evolis-SCM Dual encoders, from December 1st, 2014, because of obsolescence of a few components.Two new encoders will replace the current Crazy Writer and Evolis-SCM Dual encoders:- the Crazy Writer will be replaced by the Crazy Writer HSP (High Speed Protocol);
- the Evolis-SCM Dual (Elyctis v0.3) will be replaced by the Evolis Elyctis Dual (Elyctis v2.0).
Both new (Zenius, Primacy, Elypso) and legacy (Quantum, Securion, TattooRW, Kiosk) ranges will be affected by these modifications. Phase-out scenario for these two encoders
Last order: February 15th, for deliveries prior to March 31st, 2015, as long as supplies last. |
Availability of new encoders (Crazy Writer HSP & Evolis Elyctis Dual):
January, 2015. |
As a result, a transition period between the legacy and the new encoders will take place from January to end of March, 2015.In order to ensure a flawless transition for printers equipped with these encoders, as well as for specific projects, we ask you to get in touch with Evolis teams and, thereby, you may already start to inform your customers about the new encoder range.
