With the advancement of technology and acquiring of big data in the manufacturing production floor. Autotrack team with the collaboration with Honeywell aidc product team now offer to the Malaysia market the easy to implement product traceability solution from the creation of the product main component to the product produced into the market. Products start to be tracked since the day it is being designed on the designer desk. Every component is identity when its first main component starts to be shaped. After the main product component build, every process is being digitally recorded in the autotrack database and able to be viewed by every step production manager and the component and material source is properly tracked. Once the product finishes packed into the packaging box, an unique 2D QR code is created for this tracked item. The whole process is recorded and tabulated properly on the database and allows the end user to quickly and easily retrieve it from the internet. At the beginning of the whole production process, Autotrack team collaborated with the Honeywell team by introducing the Honeywell PX940 600dpi printer with barcode validator. The reason we use this printer is because we need to make sure the label printed is 100% readable along the whole production line. Along the production line, the additional device used for data capturing includes Honeywell latest fixed positional scanner HF800, honeywell most popular 2D barcode scanner Xenon 1950 HD and wireless 2D barcode scanner xenon 1952 wireless. THe main reason we select the HF800 fix position scanner in the autotrack integration is because this scanner gives us up to 60 image/second image capturing speed. It make sure the no miss barcode reading on unattended scanning area along the production line.
