Introduction
DS8178 series scanners come with 2 types of changing cradle depending on the part number you select. For standard cradles, it is ideal to be used in the warehouse environment where the user will not do any scanning activity during the charging period. The part number package comes with standard cardle (CR8178-SC100F4WW) with bluetooth communication. For retail usage of DS8178, we recommend you to select the presentation cradle (CR8178-SC100F4WW) so you can continuous your scanning operation while charging your scanner. The DS8178 scanner can charge directly with USB cable connection, for faster charging requirement, you may purchase additional PWR-BGA12V50W0WW Power Supply 12v, 4.16A with CBL-DC-375A1-01 DC Line Cord, 23844-00-00R AC Line Cord. before the power supply can be used to connect the scanner, make you get the CBA-U42-S07PAR Cable - Shielded USB: Series A Connector, 7ft. (2.1m), Straight which comes with a charging connector. For the host come with USB power plus connector, you may select CBA-U23-S07ZBR Cable - Shielded USB: Power Plus Connector, 7ft. (2.1m), Straight 12 or CBA-U35-S15ZBR Cable - Shielded USB: Power Plus Connector, 15ft. (4.6m), Straight 12v.
