Argox iX4-240 is an entry level label printer to be used for small and medium industry label printing. Evolve from it predecessor, X1000, X1000+ and X1000Vl, iX4-240 absorb and remain it advantage on the printer model, upgraded the new or problematic feature in the old printer series.
The first significant update from iX-240 is it upgraded it printing speed from 4ips to 6 ips, upgraded microprocessor to handle faster label printing, bigger RAM and flash to avoid label skipping issue, more precise sensor for smaller label size detection and the most important upgrade is from 300M ribbon length upgraded to 450 meter ribbon length. This upgrade reduces the number of frequency to change ribbon during the printing operation.
iX4-240 also come with default TCPIP connection at the same time remain it RS232 and USB interface connection. On top of this, it also added additional USB host connection for scanner and keyboard or other peripheral connection purpose.
