As part of its continuous improvement policy, Evolis made some modification of the Primacy feeder to make it compatible with the new locking system feature (upon request for specific projects).

Evolis customers need to pay attention to below information before ordering feeder spare parts.

The difference between old and new generation can be easily identified:

New upper feeder: Add a hook.

 New exit hopper: Add a hole.

The spare parts numbers have not changed (refer to the drawing spare parts documentation published on our partner web site).

For the Evolis Primacy printer with a serial number lower than 10000529816, only the complete feeder (ordering to Evolis HQ from May 24th 2016) can be installed into the Evolis Primacy printer. The replacement of the top part (Upper feeder) and bottom part (Exit hopper) only is no more possible (Mechanical hardware incompatible between the two parts).

For the Evolis Primacy printer with a serial number upper than 10000529816, there is no restriction. The complete feeder, upper feeder or exit hopper can be ordered and installed separately into the Evolis Primacy.

All documents published on our partner web site making references to spare parts (spare part list and drawing) have been updated based on this changes.

This improvement does not change the specifications of the Evolis printer or print quality cards.
