SOP: Inbound Receiving from Production to Shipping (Using AGen & Barcode Scanner)
Inbound receiving is the process of transferring finished goods from the production floor to the shipping department in a controlled, accurate, and traceable manner using AGen Solution and barcode scanning technology.

Once production is completed, all finished goods must be verified against the job sheet. Each product is labeled with a barcode containing key information such as product ID, quantity, batch/lot number, and specifications.

Using a barcode scanner, production staff scan each item to record completion into the AGen system. This ensures that all data is captured in real time and matches the job sheet requirements.

After verification, products are properly packaged according to shipping and customer requirements. Before transferring to the shipping department, all items are scanned again to confirm packing completion and readiness for handover.

Upon arrival at the shipping department, the receiving team uses barcode scanners to scan all incoming goods. The AGen system automatically validates the scanned data against the job sheet, ensuring that quantities, specifications, and batch details are accurate.

If any discrepancies are detected (missing items, incorrect quantities, or wrong products) the system immediately alerts the user for corrective action before acceptance. Once verified, the goods are digitally recorded in the system and moved to the designated shipping or staging area.
