ZT410 and ZT411 is the mid-range barcode printer from Zebra, one of the top barcode printer manufacturers in the world. In this product model/family, there are 203dpi, 300dpi, and 600dpi for selection on different printing resolutions.
In the electronics industry, precision printing is very critical as most of the PCB sizes are small and even getting smaller. To kick start, one must decide what category of the barcode to be used, 1D or 2D, then zoom down to the type of codes. After category/type of code was selected, the label designing/printing software is the next to be considered, established products like Autotrack Label-designer, Bartender & Codesoft are the most common choice for the market.
To make the ZT410/ZT411 run successfully, the combination of label/ribbon must be correctly matched, in terms of material made and physical sizes. Once consumables ready, one can follow the instruction diagram at the printer, with the correct direction and orientation of the label/ribbon inserted, one can start the designing works and print out directed to a printer, via USB or TCP/IP interface (the most common connection).
To prolong the usage of ZT410/ZT411, the printing head is the most important part needed to be well taken care of. All the print heads must be cleaned regularly, the best is to have scheduled cleaning/maintenance works. Once the print head is scratched, the print head and platen roller are recommended to be changed in a pair.
